The Edit Button

When you hover over a generated thumbnail, you'll see several options. The most important one is the Edit button.

When you click Edit:

  • The image becomes your new reference
  • Your prompt stays exactly the same
  • You can make targeted changes to specific elements

Use Case 1: Change the Face

Imagine you like the overall thumbnail but want a different facial expression or angle.

Steps:

  1. Click Edit on the thumbnail you like
  2. Keep the same prompt (or modify it slightly)
  3. Optionally change the person
  4. Click Generate

The AI will:

  • Keep the overall composition
  • Maintain the edited image as reference
  • Apply the changes you requested

Result: Same background, same elements, but with the updated face or expression.

Use Case 2: Replace Elements

You can also use Edit to replace specific elements in your thumbnail.

  1. Click Edit on your generated thumbnail
  2. Upload a new image (e.g., a different logo)
  3. Update your prompt:

"Replace the logo with (Image 1)"

  1. Click Generate

The AI will:

  • Use your edited image as the base
  • Replace only the specified element
  • Keep everything else intact

How Edit Works

The Edit feature works by telling the AI to use your generated image as the new reference.

This means:

  • The AI understands the context of the original generation
  • It can make precise modifications
  • It maintains consistency with the original style

Important: Always keep the reference images and style references when editing, so the AI has full context of what you're trying to achieve.

The Reuse Button

For more significant changes, use the Reuse button instead:

  • Reuses the same prompt
  • Reuses the same person
  • Reuses the same style references
  • Reuses all your settings

This is useful when you want to generate completely new variations with the same configuration.

Iterative Workflow

The best results come from iteration:

  1. Generate your first thumbnail
  2. Review the results
  3. Edit the one closest to your vision
  4. Refine specific elements
  5. Repeat until perfect

Each edit brings you closer to your ideal thumbnail without starting from scratch.

Tips for Effective Editing

Be Specific

When editing, be precise about what you want to change:

  • "Change only the facial expression"
  • "Replace the logo with (Image 1)"
  • "Keep everything but update the background"

Preserve Context

Don't remove too many elements at once. The AI works best when it has context from:

  • The edited image reference
  • Your original style references
  • Your person selection

Know When to Restart

Sometimes it's better to start fresh if:

  • The composition is fundamentally wrong
  • You want a completely different style
  • Multiple major elements need changing

Summary

  1. Use Edit to make targeted changes to generated thumbnails
  2. The edited image becomes your new reference
  3. Keep your prompt and references for context
  4. Use Reuse for completely new variations
  5. Iterate until you get the perfect result
